就一些公共现象发表一些看法比较容易有话说，而对自己的生活状态作一般描述，不是过于琐屑，就是“人类一思考，上帝便发笑”。

在书店看到《三联生活周刊十年》，平时也看几位编辑的博，翻开目录就先找他们几位的看，得出结论：他们都还挺年轻的，英语也好，不能写至少还能翻译。比如苗炜，一直以为是戴着眼镜的老头，没想到长得跟平时在篮球场随处可见的年轻人没什么两样。

以前我以为可以根据一个人写的东西推断他长什么样，一个稍微有点想法的人一般也五官不齐，远的比如苏格拉底，近的比如王小波，再近的比如王小峰。而长得好看一点往往就给人一种“轻浮”的感觉，比如一大串的明星，不开口则已，一开口让人失望透顶。借用选修课老师常说的一句话便是“长得好本身就是一种文化上的罪过”。

现在我更倾向于认为,一个人写的东西跟他长什么样没多大关系,而他所写的东西往往又代表了他的想法,想法跟大脑有关,大脑的构造又与基因有关,人的外表也与基因有关,可能,决定它们的基因是不同的。
